Chicago based multi-instrumentalist, singer and experimental rapper Nnamdi Ogbonnaya released his studio album ‘BRAT’ this year to much acclaim.
NNAMDÏ is co-founder of record label Sooper Records.
BRAT is his 3rd studio album after Bootie Noir, Feckin Weirdo and Drool.
Born out of the Chicago’s thriving DIY scene, NNAMDÏ (a self described ‘weirdo’)
is creating a tonne of excitement with his genre-defying mix of freeform jazz,
underground hip-hop and warped electronica.
With the singles Price Went Up, Wasted and Gimmie Gimmie already released with videos, Glass Casket was a spontaneous project after Stephen reached out, already being
a fan of NNAMDÏ’s extensive and varied back-catalogue.
Glass Casket music video was premiered with a broadcast
on animated comedy channel Adult Swim.

Nominated for 'Best Music Video 2020' at London International Animation Festival.

Released May 2020

"Throughout the video NNAMDÏ transforms into over 45 different illustrations,
becoming a farmer one minute, an astronaut the next and even a piece of cheese after that.
The images coincide with his introspective lyrics in the song, which reflect the Chicago artist’s anticipation around being able to care for his family and loved ones."
- HYPEBEAST

"Animated by Stephen Smith the video features different, fantastically imaginative
and executed illustrations of NNAMDÏ as he walks in a dream state
through a sea of concern for him and his family’s future.
From an Astronaut to Jesus to a piece of Cheese and a Tap Water Spout,
along with 45 other animated iterations of the multi-instrumentalist,
the video for “Glass Casket” is a triumph in art and creativity."
