Nadia morphs into various rotating items of mostly uk retro sweets, chocolate and dessert,
focusing down on a literal approach to the title/vocal hook.
On occasion the confectionary is replaced with items of expense like jewellery and cash,
connecting in the original theme of a 'sugar daddy'.
Colour-matched with the content, the lyrics are displayed in beat with the individual words.
Some sentences appear from lines and others leave dashed trails when panning offscreen, reminiscent of Liquorice Laces and Hundreds & Thousands.
Being a huge fan of Nadia Rose, this was a very exciting project to work on.
Enjoyably surreal from the beginning with a sudden phone chat with Nadia herself, this was an animation I had a lot of fun making. It was a pleasure to collaborate with an artist I admire so much.
